Overview on a Range of Threats
Brazil is a vast country, taking up nearly half of South America and claiming much of its eastern coastline. Although renewable energy accounts for 47 percent of the energy produced in Brazil, much higher than the global average. Brazil still emits a large share of the total global greenhouse gas emissions.
