This article is devoted to the description and analysis of the famous series of discs “At the concerts of Vladimir Vysotsky”. The main goal within the framework of the presented study was to confirm or refute the author's hypothesis, according to which a series of records pub- lished over 5 years (1987—1992) contributed to the formation of the biographical myth of Vladi- mir Vysotsky. The implementation of this goal was facilitated by the use of two main methods. The first method is the method of statistical description, which made it possible to give quantitative indicators and draw preliminary conclusions about how the official music industry of the USSR created the image of Vladimir Vysotsky. The second central method was the method of describing the biographical myth (Yury Domansky, Olga Nikitina), which made it possible, based on the analysis of the “prefaces” or “introductory articles” on the reverse side of each disc, to discover the main semes of the biographical myth of Vysotsky, created including the marked series of records. As a result of the research done, the author came to the conclusion that the considered series of records was of fundamental importance in the process of mythologizing the poet and the performer. The 21 discs allowed not only to expand the range of Vladimir Vysotsky, but at the expense of "prefaces" / "introductory articles" written by close friends, colleagues and scien- tists, to present Vladimir Vysotsky as a national Poet and loyal friend.
