Данная статья посвящена вопросу формирования гендерных стереотипов у старшей возрастной группы школьников. Существует ли в современном мире жесткие социальные роли у мужчин и женщин? Насколько представители молодежной группы готовы следовать сложившимся в обществе стереотипам? Именно эти вопросы стали основополагающими в данном исследовании и дают возможность для выявления начальной стадии формирования социальных стереотипов в молодежной среде. Основываясь на современных концепциях гендерной теории и принципах постмодернизма, осуществляется попытка изучения тех процессов, которые протекают в условиях постпубертатного периода, в момент формирования новой возрастной идентичности, такой как молодежь. Результаты исследования дают возможность проследить формирования гендерных ролей и выявить их значение у респондентов. Насколько они сами довольны и считают правильным существование стереотипов в современном обществе

Gender stereotypes formation among urban youth in high school

This article is devoted to the question of gender stereotypes formation among elder pupils. Are there any definite social roles of men and women at the modern society? Are young people ready to follow these set patterns? These very questions are the basis in this research and give the possibility to find out the beginning of social stereotypes formation among youth. On the base of the modern concept of gender theory and the principles of postmodernism we try to study the processes that take place at the postpuberal phase, at the period when new age identity such as youth is being formed. The results of the study give the possibility to retrace the process of gender roles formation and to find out their importance for the respondents: whether they are satisfied and agree with the existing stereotypes in the society or not.
