Objective: to study the experience of developed European countries in the organization of public-private partnership.
Methods: the theoretical research methods were used: analysis, synthesis, and historical method.
Results: basing on the study of experience of the UK, France and Germany, the strengths and weaknesses of different models of public-private partnerships were revealed, as well as the features of their organization under specific economic and historical conditions.
Scientific novelty: for the first time, the sectoral and financial features of the public-private partnerships organization in different economic systems were systematized.
Practical value: the main provisions and conclusions of the article can be used in the development of Russia's state policy in the field of creation and financing of public-private partnership projects
