On war and politics

The assertion that "war is the continuation of politics" deserves to be re­verted, to consider politics as a suspended war. The possibilities for politiciza­tion of the participants of the historical process have been varying in accordance with the develop­ment of technologies. The present is seen as a bifurcation point, which allows a move­ment towards a greater freedom and greater complexity, to the search for the forms of coexistence of the increasing range of political actors, as well as a re­duction to simpler forms of dependence, with a continual amplifi­cation of predominance of eco­nomic rela­tions.
