Аннотация. В статье рассматриваются методологические проблемы исторического знания, вытекающие из ориентации историков на крупномасштабные явления и отсутствия моделей представления событий, объединяющих микро- и макроисторический уровни. Высказывается предположение о возможной перспективе корпусных исследований в истории, которые могли бы положить в основу исторического исследования статистический анализ историй индивидов, открывая путь для превращения истории из описательной науки в своего рода «статистическую механику индивидов».

Abstract. The paper discusses the methodological problems of historical knowledge arising from the orientation of historians on large-scale phenomena and the lack of models for representing events that combine micro- and macrohistorical levels. An assumption is made about the possible prospect of corpus studies in history, which could lay a statistical analysis of individual histories as a foundation of a historical research, paving the way for the transformation of history from descriptive science into the so to speak «statistical mechanics of individuals».
