Это : Rene Descartes “Meditations on First Philosophy”(1640). John Locke “Essay Concerning Human Understanding (1690). Immanuel Kant “The Critique of Pure Reason” (1781), “Critique of Judgement” (1790). G. W. F. Hegel “The Phenomenology of Spirit” (1807). Emile Durkheim “The Rules of Sociological Method” (1895), “Suicide” (1897). Max Weber “The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism” (1905), “The Religion of China ” (1916). Robert Park “Introduction to the Science of Sociology” (1921), with E. Burgess. Martin Heidegger “Being and Time” (1927). Peter Berger “The Social Construction of Reality” (1966), with T. Luckman. Clifford Geertz “Deep play: notes on the Balinese cockfight (1972).

Дефиницию “культура” использовали Сlark Wissber, A. L. Kroeber, R. H. Lowie.

Культура как система, то есть концепция культурной системы (Robert H. Lowie, Benedict Ruth, Herbert Spencer, L. A. White).

Sapir, Benedict, Hershovits, Kreber.

Frederick Engels (“The Communist Manifesto” 1848, “Contribution to the Critique of the Political Economy” 1859). Georg Lukacs (“History and Class Consciousness” 1920), Theodor Adorno (“The Authoritarian Personality” 1950, “Dialectic of Enlightenment” 1944, with M. Horkheimer), Louis Althusser (“For Marx” 1963) рассматривает идеологию как символ определяющий общество , идеология доминирует на все уровни культуры , культура может существовать независимо от политической экономии ; Antonio Gramsci (“Selections from PoliticalWrittings” 1921-26); Paul Ricoeur (“Political and Social Essayes” 1974); Jugen Habermas (“The Theory of Communicative Action” 1984).

(The Birmingham Centre for Contemporary Cultural Studies)

Tony Bennett (1986-1998), P. Bourdieu (1977-96), J. Clifford (1986-97), S. During (1987-98), J. Fiske (1987-92), A. Gramsci (1971-85), L. Grossberg (1984-98), S. Hall (1977-96), F. Jameson (1981-98), A. McRobbie (1980-97), D. Morley (1980-96), M. Morris (1988-98), S. Redhead (1990-97), A. Ross (1988-98), G. C. Spivak (1988-98), R. Williams (1960-89).
